Weather in the South

Three things:

  • Rain does not equal cold. You can wear shorts in the rain here.
  • It will be hotter at 5 p.m. than it was at 2 p.m. My friend Ann tells me that California is just about the only state where 2 p.m. is the hottest part of the day.
  • The sky will open and dump a couple of buckets of water without warning.
  • If the weather radio days there will be a thunderstorm, there will be a thunderstorm. The skies may be blue, but believe the radio, not your eyes.
